I think that this experience with the elementary school kids really did make the school more peaceful or at least temporarily more peaceful because if a high school student were to actually bond with the kids, they begin to look up to us even more so, and even with younger kids at an orphanage or some other place of that nature the kids begin to get attached to us but on a stronger level than just a friend, more like an older sibling. Also when the kid(s) see how peaceful we are then it is only natural for them to mimic our actions considering that they look up to us and feel a special bond.
